Student Scholarship Fund
Meadow Lake Co-op strives to support Team Members in achieving their post-secondary education goals by offering a scholarship fund calculated based on the hours they have worked.
Scholarship Fund process, and the actions required on the part of the Student Team Members. Criteria:
• Students must be employed by the Meadow Lake Co-op for a minimum of one year and as of June 30 of their grade 12 graduating year.
• Students must maintain a job performance rating of “Fully Achieving” or better throughout their student working years.
• Students must apply for the Meadow Lake Co-op Student Scholarship Fund.
• Proof of registration in post-secondary institution is required.
• Students who do not attend a post-secondary institution immediately after graduating from Grade 12, but remain employed with Meadow Lake Co-op, will have one year to apply and enroll in a post-secondary education.
• If a student is not attending a post-secondary education immediately after graduating but still wants to apply for the Student Scholarship fund, a letter stating that their intention to pursue post-secondary education at a later date will need to be submitted with the application form. Proof of registration to a post-secondary institution is still needed to be eligible.
• All required documents will need to be submitted to the Human Resource Co-ordinator before payment will be made.
• Payment will be made to the student directly.
