New Co-op Location coming to Buffalo Narrows!

Update on Robert’s One-Stop Gas & Confectionery as of July 28th.

We’re pleased to announce that we have officially taken possession of Roberts’ One-Stop Gas & Confectionery shop. This is an important milestone as we continue to grow and strengthen our commitment to serving the needs of our valued member-owners and customers in Buffalo Narrows and the surrounding communities.

As part of this transition, the site is currently undergoing a series of upgrades aimed at enhancing your fuelling and shopping experience. While these improvements are underway, full services will not be available, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

We’re working hard to complete the upgrades and are excited to welcome you back for a soft opening on Friday, August 8th.

Great News — Meadow Lake Co-op is Expanding

Meadow Lake Co-operative Association Limited (MLC) has entered into an agreement to purchase Robert’s One-Stop Gas & Confectionery, located in Buffalo Narrows, Sask.

As part of Meadow Lake Co-op’s Northern expansion strategy, this purchase underscores the co-operative’s commitment to growing its trading area and enhancing services to meet the evolving needs of its member-owners, customers and communities.

Since 2014, MLC has been an unbranded and trusted fuel supplier to Robert’s One-Stop Gas & Confectionary. With this acquisition, the co-operative reaffirms its commitment to proudly serving and fuelling the community — now strengthened under the Co-op shield.

“We’re excited to officially introduce the Co-op brand to the community of Buffalo Narrows,” said Brent Bushell, General Manager, Meadow Lake Co-operative Association Limited. “We look forward to offering another option to shop with Meadow Lake Co-op, while delivering what Co-op is known for — a quality experience, exceptional customer service and a strong commitment to giving back to the community.”

Meadow Lake Co-op has plans to offer an exceptional fuelling experience. Under the Co-op brand, the site will feature a cardlock expansion, including pumps with EMV capabilities, and the addition of a premium fuel tank to complement the site’s current fuel categories. Looking forward, Meadow Lake Co-op has additional plans to add home heating fuel and propane to service the area.

As the site transitions to Co-op operations, members and customers can expect no immediate changes to hours of operation, product selection or services offered.

Residents of Buffalo Narrows and surrounding communities are encouraged to sign-up for a Meadow Lake Co-op membership. Members have more opportunities to shop Co-op and earn equity and cash back on purchases.

The acquisition is subject to conditions and expected to close July 28. The financial terms of this agreement will not be disclosed.
